Dog and pig owned by George H. French of Turner, Me. (an 1899 graduate of Gould Academy). As described in a Ripley's Believe it or Not cartoon (see 2014.010.1001.63), the dog carries food to the pig every day. This photograph was apparently mailed to Eva Bean in response to a request for more information (see French's response, 2014.010.1001.64).
