Program for a prize debate held by Gould Academy at Ideal Hall on the question: "Resolved: That the Right of Employes to Combine and even to Strike for the Purpose of Redressing Grievences is Sound in Principle and Justified by the Facts."

John A. Tyler and, A. Malcolm Bean, and George F. Rich argued in the affirmative while John J. Elliot and Arthur C. Grover argued in the negative. It is not clear whether the students chose or were assigned their sides.
