COLL 163: Cummings-Lovejoy Collection

Description

Large collection of family papers donated by Catherine (Cummings) Lovejoy, including:
-A collection of letters, mainly consisting of correspondence between Rinaldo L. Cummings of West Paris and his son, Alanson Cummings, during the years in which Alanson lived in California.
-Family photographs, including snapshots depicting Alanson Cummings and wife Fannie Cummings journey to California in 1924, and subsequent trips back in later years.
-A collection of ephemera, including programs, ticket stubs, etc. relating to places visited by the Cummings in California and on their way out.
-A collection of newsletters, booklets, etc. relating to the American Legion.
-Other paper ephemera including programs, clippings, flyers, etc. related to the Cummings family and to local businesses, churches, etc.
