Description
A collection of records pertaining to the Bethel Steam Mills, as follows:
-- sixty journals, ledgers and business records associated with the Bethel Steam Mills company, dating from the 1860s to 1880s. These records offer a comprehensive look at the operation of the Steam Mill, tenements associated with the mill, and a company store owned by one of the principals. Also included are ledgers related to the American Spool Stock and Bobbin Company of Bethel, as well as records from the mill at Locke Mills village (Greenwood), Maine.
