Oxford County Historic Resource Survey

The Oxford County Historic Resource Survey collection consists of 1,844 color slides of historic buildings in Oxford County taken by George Allen, director of the project during the first year, and 387 grayscale photographic prints taken by Allen and Randall H. Bennett. 348 identified slides and all 387 photographs have been indexed and are fully searchable on this website.

The Oxford County Historic Resource Survey was later completed by Randall H. Bennett, and resulted in the book Oxford County, Maine: A Guide to its Historic Architecture.
